TheSweatlist 2018: Classes You Don’t Want to Miss!

It’s officially here! The SweatList 2018 is a brand new concept and challenge we are bringing to uforia: it’s like music festival combined with hard hitting, sweat inducing playlists and theme classes. The SweatList is a challenge: complete 12 classes in 30 days. Great music and killer workouts is the perfect reason way to conclude the Summer of 2018 with a bang and a little sweat.

Not sure what classes you want to take as a part of the challenge? I got you! I got a chance to catch up with Rockstars to ask what Theme Classes they are most excited to teach.

Amy Holsopple, Nob Hill Grit:

I’m excited for BOSS BABES and to celebrate women who have blazed trails in the music industry in the past and those who are dominating the charts today. I was listening to Janet Jackson the other week and was reminded how good her songs are. So, spoiler alert: she’s on the playlist! Also, 2018 has been a powerful year for women, so it only seems fitting to keep shining the spotlight on the LADIES during Sweatlist2018!

Jessica Baier, Nob Hill/Palo Alto Revolutions:

“I’m kicking off the month on Saturday 9/1 with Rise and Rave. I chose this theme because this is my first time teaching morning classes, and I loved the idea of starting the day with some DJ beat drops that keep you dancing long after class. This music gives me energy, and I want to pass that on to our uforia clients to set the tone for the rest of their weekends! Be ready for some big names like Avicii and Martin Garrix, as well as some festival favorites like Cash Cash and Galantis, with some top 40 remixes mixed in!

Jazon Escultura, Nob Hill/Palo Alto Hip Hop + Grit:

I’m excited about my themes because that was the era that I grew up in! The music in my classes for SweatList sounds a lot like the music in my culture; it represents me!

Heidi Kim, Nob Hill Hip-Hop:
I’m teaching a “In My Feelings” class on Sept 4 at 630 and 730pm. It’s inspired by Drake and his most recent album “Scorpion.” The class will be featuring all of Drake’s biggest hits!

Rally Adamos, Nob Hill Revolutions

I’m teaching an R&B class that I’ve always wanted to do. This is an R&B playlist with a twist – revolutions and beats. Featuring some of today’s hottest artists in R&B and hip-hop. Artists like: Chris Brown, Ciara, Drake, and Miguel

David Murray, Palo Alto Revolutions:

I’m excited for my International Pop Themed Ride because it’s rare to hear a ton of non-English language songs while on the bike! Maluma is a hot Latin artist who has some awesome songs and a huuuuge following, so I’m excited for people to hear his music PLUS some stuff out of Asia that is SUPER rare to hear out here!
